This training is guided by the Sacred Body Method, an anatomy-informed approach that combines modern movement science with traditional yoga practices to support greater awareness, balance and wellbeing.
Rather than focusing on performance or achieving specific postures, we explore how the body and nervous system respond to movement, rest, breath and attention. You will learn practical ways to support regulation, recovery, self-awareness and long-term wellbeing. Throughout the training, you will experience these practices in your own body first, developing a deeper understanding of their effects before learning how to apply them personally or share them with others.
This training is suitable for anyone who would like to explore somatic movement, restorative yoga, Yoga Nidra and meditation in greater depth.
No previous teaching experience is required. Curiosity, openness and a willingness to learn are all you need.
Learn from the founders of Sacred Body Studio, who bring decades of experience in yoga, Pilates, anatomy, movement education and teacher training.
Co-Founder, Lead Teacher
My teaching combines yoga, Pilates, somatic movement and restorative practices with a strong focus on accessibility and individual needs. With a background in music, dance and theatre, I bring a creative approach that supports mindful movement, relaxation and self-awareness. I enjoy helping students explore these practices in a way that feels practical, supportive and sustainable.
Co-Founder, Teacher
With over 20 years of experience in movement education, I bring an anatomy-informed approach that helps students understand how movement, breath and relaxation practices work together. My goal is to make complex concepts accessible and practical, giving students tools they can apply immediately in their own practice and teaching.
Throughout the course, you’ll be guided with practical experience, personalised support and space to learn at your own pace.

Restorative yoga uses supported postures, props and stillness to encourage physical relaxation and nervous system regulation. Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation practice, usually experienced lying down, that leads participants through different stages of awareness and deep relaxation. While both practices promote rest and recovery, restorative yoga works primarily through supported physical postures, whereas Yoga Nidra is guided through spoken instruction and awareness techniques.
